This blood test measures the amount of copper in the blood. It can be used to diagnose Wilsons disease and levels of copper (deficiencies). Symptoms such as fatigue, jaundice, abdominal pain and more can be due to copper levels.
Copper metabolism is disturbed in Wilson's disease, Menkes disease, primary biliary cirrhosis and Indian childhood cirrhosis.
This test is NOT available as a finger prick BUT is available as a vacutainer sample collection option. You can also choose to visit a BMI Hospital or have a Nurse Home Visit. Select option at checkout.
