This whole blood test searches for the presence of 4 of the most commonly identified toxic heavy metals. All can be picked from the environment and if undetected can have both long and short term serious effects.

Mercury poisoning these days is most likely in the form of methylmercury as a result from ingestion of seafood, particularly long lived fish such as shark and tuna.

Lead is easily ingested form industrial, dietary and accidental exposure. Children are especially susceptible to nerve damage from high levels of lead.

Aluminium is in widespread use, industrially and domestically. Residues of aluminum compounds can be found in drinking water, food and cosmetics, as well as in many appliances and equipment. Alzheimer's disease and autism have both been linked to ingestion of aluminium.

Arsenic is present in the environment and often appears in freshwater supplies in those areas where it abounds. Old mines may present a source, and because of its extensive use in industry over many years, concentrated deposits may be found.

Great service and product. The turn around is brilliant (mostly - there was a glitch during the early part of the Covid pandemic, but that seems to be resolved now). Tests are recognised by the medical profession so I am able to use the results to get the treatment I need without further tests.

I had various questions which they answered via email/webchat and the timing of getting a kit, sending it back and getting the results was good.
