Private Home Coronavirus Testing.

Get COVID-19 tests at home, from an experienced provider.

Blue Horizon have been helping people access Laboratory testing from the safety of their own home since 2009. As our accredited laboratory partners now offer PHE approved COVID-19 tests our customers can now order these Coronavirus tests safely online, along with our more usual range of tests such as thyroid hormones and cancer markers.

An enhanced service, for these unprecedented times.

Due to unexpected postal delays all customers are now receiving expedited post both ways and we are pleased to say that typically results for the Covid-19 IgG antibody test are now being issued within 24 hours of the laboratory receiving back the samples.

Trusted Laboratories.

Our test runs are on a very small scale compared to the UK government’s ambitious plans for mass detection and screening. Private testing is run independently from the government, and the sale of these tests does not limit capacity for NHS access to these tests. Both the PCR swab test and the IgG COVID-19 Antibody test are carried out by our regular trusted private laboratories that are registered with the Care Quality Commission.

An easy process to follow.

For those that have not used home collection kits before the process can seem a little daunting, but 95% of our customers find collecting a viable swab sample straight forward, and the antibody test is now using vacutainer only - either find your own phlebotomist, or let us send one to your home.

  1. Order your Coronavirus test kits online, they are dispatched same day (if before 1pm, monday to friday)
  2. Your kit is sent by an expedited service - Royal Mail 24 for the swab test and TNT next day for the antibody test.
  3. Take a sample by following the instructions
  4. Post back in provided return envelope
  5. When the laboratory receive the sample, they will start testing straight away, results will be issued within 1 working day.
